Generic Survey Gives Democrats a Headache
Another respected prognosticator has predicted that the Republicans will gain control of the House. Larry Sabato joins Mark Halperin and Charlie Cook in predicting that outcome in the November elections. In addition to deepening the gloom surrounding the Democrats just two months before the elections, these predictions will certainly result in a hesitancy on the part of donors to throw their money at a lost cause. Look for more and more corporate cash to flow into the Republican coffers, cash that two years ago went to the Democrats.

Hugh, I haven't been following this race closely, I appreciate your perspective and passion. I am thrilled to see more women running for office from both parties, as gender balance is important to me. In reading your posts, I am interested in learning more about both candidates main platform and a little work history. I am also excited to see citizens that were leaders in the private sector try their hand at the public sector. Leadership skills are transferable, but I feel there are unique challenges in the public sector. At the same time, private sector thinking may help to continue to evolve the incumbant's style and benefit her district in the long run. Emily
